Semester 1, 2017 is coming to a successful end as students have finished their assessments and the celebration of the ending of Ramadan.

During this term, students learnt about the weather, the environment and the Ramadan culture.

Ramadan is a very significant time for Muslims as it is not just about fasting. It is a time for reflection and also about the community coming together and enjoying the spirit of Ramadan as well as children learning about their culture.

Grade 3 &5 students enjoyed performing a popular Ramadan song “Majenah Ya Majenah” during the great gathering at the Iftar dinner on Tuesday 20/06 /17.

The families, who have attended, have absolutely loved the atmosphere and the spirit of Ramadan and we heard lots of positive feedback.

As we approach the end of Ramadan, I wish you all Eid Mubarak and a lovely break.
